Vintage Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers "Quality" T-Shirt Militaria This vintage PETA shirtTom Petty formed The Heartbreakers in 1976. After the break up of his first band Mudcrutch, Petty went out on his own starting a new band. They found quick success with their debut self titled album and basically just kept going from there. The band released 13 albums and was regarded as one of the best rock bands out there for basically their whole career. Sadly, Petty passed away in 2017.
